Shrek the Third (called Shrek 3 in post-production, not to be confused with Shrek 4-D) is a film directed by Chris Miller and was released on May 18, 2007. It is the second sequel to Shrek. It is being produced by Jeffrey Katzenberg for DreamWorks Animation, and will be distributed by Paramount Pictures. The tagline of this Animation / Comedy / Family / Fantasy

The first Shrek film was the first to win an Oscar for Best Animated Feature. A fairy tale where a loveable green ogre Shrek (voiced by Mike Myers) falls in love with Princess Fiona (Cameron Diaz) , the franchise had a super successful second film with Puss in Boots (Antonio Banderas) joining Donkey (Eddie Murphy) as the Shrek support team.
